A Wedding Organized in Grand Style

In our custom, marriages are held in the daytime. So the enjoyment of lighting firecrackers and the decoration at night does not take place. Right from the moment diamond engagement rings are browsed for, everything is meticulously planned.
So when my wedding was fixed, my family decided that the wedding will take place in the morning and a grand reception will be held in the night. A musical extravaganza along with an event management group was handed over the charge to take care of everything starting from the ceremonial welcome given to the groom and his family to arrangements at the resort. I had made a designer lehenga that I wore at night. During the wedding it was customary to wear the sari in a traditional style and the groom was supposed to wear a loin cloth and a kurta. Everybody enjoyed on the day of wedding and the lavish spread for dinner was the most happening of all things on that particular day. The chef had prepared delicious dishes and everybody enjoyed the food a lot. It was a dream day for me.
