When people are single, they use their names and they are free to do anything they want and make decisions on their own, without involving any body else. They always have a freedom of saying anything and moving from one place to another without getting consultation from anybody. Married couples are different because a person is not allowed to make decision without telling the spouse. When people get married they become one and not two. When getting a passport they are not supposed to use single names as they are still single but they are supposed to share sir names since they are married. A passport getting married should include one name which two people share. But when a married couple wants to travel and use their names, problems starts from there and it will be difficult for them to apply for passport. When they divorce, they don’t need to share name but to use theirs since they no longer together and they don’t stay at same house. This happens only when the court gives authority and permission. Couples should be careful when making decisions because it can affect the marriage. |

My parents have the best love story of all time. My father was in the military many years ago and while he was serving in one of those countries that had war because of political unrest, he fell in love with one of the natives. Now so many things could go wrong. First of all, she had already been chosen for a husband. She was the most beautiful girl that he had ever met and he wanted to take her back to the states. She befriended him, and he taught her how to speak in English. They became very good friends and when he was supposed to go back to his country, he found out that she was pregnant with me. He knew that she was in danger and he got her protection before he came back for her. When she came to his country, she went through the naturalization process and she got a passport after naturalization. They have been very close ever since and my father loves her with his all. This is a love story that shows people that love has no boundaries. |

When I was five years old, my baby sitter was busy on the phone with her boyfriend and that caused me a lot because that negligence was the main reason and cause for my claustrophobia. The kidnapper kept me in a closet for two straight weeks, and there we spiders in there that really tortured me. When I got rescued, I could not stand very enclosed places because it reminded me if that awful day. This caused me to sit near doors in lecture halls and even in buses. I rarely took the plane because there was no where to go once my panic attacks kicked in. My sister on the other hand liked traveling and because of that she chose to get married in Puerto Rico. The question was the passports to puerto rico that were needed but instead will I even make the trip. I had to go because she had asked me to be her best maid. So my best friends decided to sedate me and that was the only way that I could get in to that plane. |

There are many people who get to travel a lot because of work. Some are international business people that need to cross international borders so that they can be able to make important business deals or even solve problems that arise from time to time and that need their personal attention. When it comes to musicians, it is normal for them to travel because they need to go to tours globally to attend to their fans, and also to promote their music so that they can make enough sales that result in to profits. Surprised, happy, and apprehensive, all at the same time. That's how I felt. I am new in this setup, barely six months. Naturally I was nervous when my senior supervisor summoned me to his office. What could it be? Was he unhappy with my report? I was asked to do research on marketing practices in Japan with emphasis on foreign businesses entering the Japanese market. I spent hours and hours on the web reading up, even at home. I submitted my report right on schedule. I was a bit unhappy with it though. I know I could have done better if I only had a little more time. But I thought it unwise to ask for an extension on my very first assignment. My report was on his desk. He closed the folder and looked at me sternly. "The company would like to send you to Japan for a first hand account," he said and broke into a broad grin. "As soon as possible." I must have looked stunned. This was unexpected. I felt happy and apprehensive all at once. how long do passports take? Mine would expire this month. I had planned to take care of it as soon as my report was done. |
