The Steps Taken to Promote My Website

My website presents a building materials retail business. Consistent work is being done to improve the traffic to the website. Some of the steps that have been taken will be described here.
Firstly, a lot of work was done with the actual content of the website. I made sure that I use a lot of descriptions to capture as many keyword searches as possible. The main keywords integrated into short descriptions were put onto the front page in bold fonts.
I also incorporate a lot of visual material, as it drives the ratings of the site up for search engines. I make sure that i keep on adding new information constantly to keep the website dynamic, which again drives its ratings up. Besides the internal work on the actual website the following actions are taken.
Advertising in Google Adwords, a public profile on Facebook, which directs traffic to the website), participations in numerous online forums on the topic of the building materials, constructions, etc., where I post the link to the website when relevant. I also have a mailing list of all the construcion companies of the country whom I mail on a regular basis with special offers and a link to the website for further information - you can buy bulk business email lists from various sources.
